Author Interview - Ann Drews

September 27, 2018

*It is my great pleasure to introduce Pen It! Publication's new marketing representative, Tonya Andrews (Ann Drews). Please read the following interview to find out more about Pen It's! newest addition!

Please take a moment to introduce yourself.

Sometimes, it is a challenging choice to know where to start when the blessings from God are beyond overflowing. I am Ma to three amazing kids, plus those who have adopted me as such. I am an Ordained Deacon in my church network. I am also a Pen It! Publications, LLC author. I grew up on a farm and also spend as much time as I can at the lake in the summer. My journey would not be complete without my Savior. He loves me even when I am unlovable.

How did you first hear about Pen It! Publications?

I am actually a prior Tate Publishing author. I was on one of the Facebook pages made for us to all communicate, and saw a post from Debi. As they say, the rest is history.

What was your first book which Pen It! published?

My first Pen It! book is Under the Willow Tree. It is about my journey in Christ, however, it’s written in children's book format. Pen It! has also published, The Willow Tree and The Other Side of the Willow Tree. I recently had two more approved in this series. I would be remiss if I didn't mention my rodeo series. The first book, The Life of a Rodeo Clown was just released by Pen It!. The rodeo association that held the inspiring rodeo is discussing a booth for rodeo clown and author signatures this summer. The book was also featured on the front page of a town newspaper not long ago. I am also working on my first novel and devotionals as well. I say all of that to say this.... I totally understand! :D

What made you decide to take over as the new marketing representative for the company?

Marketing? Yes, please!! I love the marketing side of things, whether it be building relationships, creating, or simply helping others realize their purpose.

Have you had any prior experience in the field?

I do, indeed. I worked in the marketing dept. at an accounting firm. I also spent several hours marketing many community organizations. This included creating all needed marketing items and building continued relationships.

What kind of hobbies do you enjoy?

Kids, kids, and kids. :) Helping others, the lake, photography, reading, gardening, and spending time with my love.

Is there anything else which you would like to share?

I look forward to getting to know you all. Thank you for all your patience moving forward.

Thank you very much for your interview, Tonya. We all look forward to working with you!
